Michael Rosenbaum è stato intervistato da IESB mentre presenziava all'anteprima mondiale del film "Pirates of the Caribbean 2", in Italia "La Maledizione del forziere fantasma", e ha parlato di Superman Returns, di Lex e della sesta stagione di Smallville. IESB: We saw you at the Superman Premiere and you actually were there with Kevin Spacey… it was kinda of a really cool shot there… so did you give him any advice?
MR: Give Kevin any advice?
IESB: You know Lex Luthor to Lex Luthor?
MR: I just said you know.. Kevin I really didn’t plan going over the top until when I get older like your character’s on Superman but now I have to built and go from where I am to where you…. No I didn’t do this.. no advice, he’s won two Oscars, the guy is great…um…
IESB: So you saw Superman, I’ve seen it like 6 times already, what did you think about it man?
MR: It’s great, it’s lot of fun..
IESB: Isn’t it incredible?
MR: Yeah, it was a lot of fun, I thought the effects were amazing, it’s a great summer movie and everyone needed the return of Superman, so it was good.
IESB: Alright so what are we expecting to see next season?
MR: Lex.. Lex is gonna become a ultimate bad ass villain next year cause the show probably won’t last more than another year or two, right? SO we gotta, gotta *snaps his fingers * step up now, don’t we? But you know at the end of last season I was … Lex turned into Zod, he’s on the rooftop, there’s thousands of people rioting and Lana is on my arms … he’s becoming this ultimate villain so it’s kinda fun to watch him turn a little bit.
ESB: Ti abbiamo visto alla Premiere di Superman e eri con Kevin Spacey... è stato davvero un bel colpo... allora gli hai dato qualche consiglio?
MR: Dato a Kevin qualche consiglio?
IESB: Lo sai da Lex Luthor a Lex Luthor?
MR: Gli ho solo detto sai... Kevin io non ho nei miei progetti di andare avanti fino a diventare vecchio come il personaggio di Superman ma adesso devo costruirlo e andare da dove sono adesso fino a te... No non l'ho fatto... nessun consiglio, lui ha vinto due Oscar, lui è grande... uhm...
IESB: Così hai visto Superman, io l'ho già visto tipo 6 volte, cosa ne pensi?
MR: E' grandioso, molto divertente...
IESB: Non è incredibile?
MR: Si, molto divertente, ho pensato che gli effetti speciali fossero fantastici, è un grande film estivo e tutti avevano bisogno del ritorno di Superman, è ottimo.
IESB: Ok, allora cosa ti aspetti di vedere nella prossima stagione?
MR: Lex... Lex diventerà un grandissimo cattivo il prossimo anno quindi lo show non finirà se non in uno o due anni, giusto? Così noi dobbiamo (schiocca le dita) andare avanti adesso, non credi? Ma sai alla fine della scorsa stagione io ero... Lex trasformato in Zod, sul tetto, con migliaia di persone in rivolta e Lana tra le mie braccia... sta diventando questo super cattivo così è divertente vederlo trasformarsi un po'.
